Today, in our staff meeting, one of my colleagues asked: Why do some people need continued direct interventions like laser and neurofeedback, while the patient we were discussing, do not seem to need continued treatment? Think of the body’s healing like a garden: Some patients eventually stop needing treatment because: We’ve removed what was harming their brain (infection, inflammation, poor diet, mold exposure, etc.) and used direct interventions like laser and neurofeedback to remove the weeds and pests from the “garden” – the brain. Once they’re gone, the garden can thrive on its own without constant intervention. Other patients need ongoing treatment
